General Civil Litigation

We have spent over 20 years in the court room fighting for our clients. We have fought in both state and federal court and filed appeals with the 3rd District Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California Supreme Court.

We have tried all types of cases from Wrongful Termination of Employment to Licensing Issues in front of state licensing agencies.

All types of cases need justice. With our knowledge and experience we can help you with just about any type of situation you can imagine! Just look at some of the cases we have taken on.

Due to confidentially issues we have changed the names

Police Shoot Homeowners Dog

The police were looking for a man who lived on one time at his girlfriend’s house. The Police go to the girlfriend’s house and attempt to sneak in the back yard to look into the windows of the house to find the man of which they are looking.

As they sneak into the backyard, violating her rights to be free from unlawful searches, her peaceful Rottweiler, a beautiful family pet, was viciously shot by the police without any provocation.

As the pet laid dying, the girlfriend returned home and found the police standing in her yard. They cornered her and questioned her asking where her one time boyfriend was. She then reminded them that they had arrested him just weeks before and sent him to prison where he was presently residing.

They then told her that they shot her dog in the back yard. She ran to his side and picked him up and raced him to the vet. Her precious pet held on for a few days but passed as a result of the multiple gun shot wounds.

They then tried to blame the dog, because the dog was in the fenced in yard of his own home. The police did never attempted to explain why they were in the dog.

Dead Man sues Dead Woman’s estate

We once represented the child of a man who was murdered by his girl friend, who was shortly thereafter murdered by her new boyfriend.

Business Owner Premise Liability

We once sued a business owner who employed an independent contractor who brought his dog with him every time he came to work. One day, that dog chased our clients show horse. Our client was injured while trying to protect her show horse.

This case was referred to us by another attorney who didn’t believe he would be able to hold the business owner accountable for the actions of its independent contractor.

We sued the business owner for failure to manage his business in a safe manor, and maintaining a property with a dangerous condition - the dog. Most believed that it was an unwise legal decision one in which we could not prevail. But we knew, our client was seriously hurt, and justice demanded that someone be held accountable.

We prevailed, and justice was served.
